Noisms is a historian/lawyer. Zero_zero_one is a mathematician. This is a place for propounding politics, history, maths, law, literature, film, poetry and the meaning of life. Unfortunately, there will be no titties. Comments are welcome. Rip our ill-formed opinions to shreds.

I went to Prague for a week in the summer of 2005. There were lots of pieces of art dotted around the main streets; I don't know if they are still there or not, but they really grabbed my attention at the time.
I'm not much of an art critic, but that is one weird-looking piece of sculpture. I'd be willing to bet that it would be considered obscene in any Islamic country and most US locations with Republican administrations.
Bilbo - I hadn't thought about it like that, but you're probably right.
LOL! I live in Islamic countries and know for a fact that we won't be seeing any 'art' like that around here.
